We don't include the functions of other dating sites that we don't believe in, such as popularity contests and editorial control of profiles.
The site has adult members of all ages. For older members the site has a Large Font Sizes option which is accessible from the member's profile page.
No-one will know any information that can identify you including your name, telephone number, address or email details until you know a person and are comfortable revealing these details yourself.

There are a large number of international date formats in use and it can be difficult for the system to interpret them correctly. Please enter your birthdate in one of the formats dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy or yyyy/mm/dd with a full 4-digit year and select the date format that you have used from the 'date format' list.
Posting a video of yourself is a great way for people to get to know you. To create a video profile you will first need to join the site.
This involves creating a standard text profile (from the Join the site tab), and uploading a photo from the Photos tab.
Once you have done this go to the Videos tab. Video files are limited to 45 Mb in size which equates to approximately 20 seconds of standard video.
Once you have recorded and uploaded your video it will be available for viewing to members when they view your profile.
There is limited support for foreign languages. When you create or edit your profile you can tick the 'show language translation' checkbox.
If you tick this box, when you log into the system a language translation box will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen.
You can select from this dropdown list to translate the entire site into your preferred language.
Also, at any time you can enter foreign language text into your profile and email messages.
Internet dating involves meeting people that you might know little about and security is an important issue.
We recommend that you stick to the following principles.
Only meet people that live in the same city as yourself.
Give out only your first name, and possibly a mobile phone number (optional).
You might not want to let the other person know your surname, home telephone number or home address until you have been on at least one date together.
Meet in a place with other people around, such as a shopping centre, restaurant etc.
